Benlea Welsh Ponies is a breeding farm that has been producing purebred nationally recognized show quality Welsh Ponies (Sections A & B) for almost 40 years. Our goal is to produce outstanding Welsh ponies with quiet, gentle manners and lovely movement on the line and over fences. We are proud that our careful breeding program has resulted in our ponies being consistently in the USEF Zone and National Championships, and at the major A-rated shows from coast to coast. We breed a limited number of our own foals every year from our select broodmare band. All our mares are from the top performance lines and year after year produce beautiful, quality foals. Our foals and mares live out in our spacious fields, allowing our youngsters to grown and frolic in the fresh air and sunshine, developing strong bones and an athletic build for long, healthy careers as premium riding and/or driving ponies. We also stand two nationally recognized stallions, both offering the best pedigrees found in the Welsh pony lineage today for producing the best performance ponies anywhere in the United States.
